Congratulations Tamarac Senior All-Stars!!!

Not only did they win District 10, but they beat Miami Springs in extra innings to win the Section 8 Championship and advanced to the state tournament in Fort Myers. Tamarac led the game 2-1 going into the sixth inning, when Springs tied it up on a wild pitch with two outs. Tamarac retook the lead in the bottom of the sixth, only to have Miami Springs tie it up in their last at bat again with two outs. But Tamarac pulled it out in the bottom of the eighth when Kanan Weiss ripped a two-out single through the middle, sending the winning run home from third. Way to go Seniors! Unfortunately, in Fort Myers, our Tamarac team lost 3-1 to East Boynton Beach, who eventually won the state tournament, the regional tournament, and finished third in the Little League World Series.
